Funeral services for Chantell Raye Fury will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30 at the Dove Creek High School Gymnasium. Following the services Chantell will be laid to rest at the Dove Creek Cemetery.

On April 2, 1976, Chantell was born the daughter of Albert Joe and Carol Sue (Knuckles) Fury in Cortez. She was raised and schooled in Dove Creek and in 1999 Chantell moved to Chandler, Ariz. Chantell passed away at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Ariz. on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at the age of 35.

Surviving Chantell are her parents, Albert and Carol Fury of Dove Creek; and her sister, Rachelle Fury also of Dove Creek. Chantell is the granddaughter of the late Helen and Glen Knuckles from Egnar, Colo. and the late Frank and Mary Anna Fury from Dove Creek.

Memorial contributions may be made in Chantell Fury’s name at any Community Bank of Colorado to benefit the VFW Post #5181.
