Former Denver Bronco player and Montezuma-Cortez High School graduate Larry Brunson takes pictures with M-CHS seniors after the school received a $1,000 grant from the Rocky Mountain Health Plans Foundation. Manaugh and Kemper elementary schools also received $1,000 physical education grants from the Foundation. Brunson graduated from M-CHS in 1967. After high school, Brunson attended Mesa College in Grand Junction, then the University of Colorado. He was drafted as a wide receiver in the 11th round by the Broncos in 1972.
