Mary House and Emily Whiteman make fry bread for the Ernest House Sr. Memorial Motorcycle Ride Saturday. After the ride, lunch was served at the Towaoc Community Center.

About 30 riders participated in the Ernest House Sr. Memorial Motorcycle Ride Saturday. They rode 200 miles in about four hours. House Sr. was a former Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Council chairman who worked for the tribe for more than 30 years. He died in a motorcycle accident in McElmo Canyon on Sept. 17, 2011. He was 65.
