Smoke and ripened autumn wheat are the colors of this amazing sweetheart. His coat ranges from buff tones to reddish-browns, with a dramatic black-striped tail and markings, and big white feet. He’s got spectacular cobalt blue eyes. This absolutely gorgeous 1 & 1/2 year-old neutered male also has the personality to match his exceptional beauty. He’s very loving and affectionate, playful when you want him to be, and with a calm disposition. He’s good with other cats and kids, and possibly dogs. Smoke needs a kindhearted human to bring joy back to his life — he’ll definitely return the favor. The shelter also has loving big and little dogs, other deserving cats — including a big white and black kitty — and lots of sweet kittens of every color. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on alternate Fridays; they will be closed this Friday. The fee for adoption includes spaying or neutering, vaccination and microchipping. The shelter needs donations of non-clumping cat litter, Iams or Purina kitten chow, and cleaning supplies such as plain bleach, dry dishwasher soap, liquid laundry soap, and liquid dish soap. They also could really use some new hard dog toys for the shelter dogs to chew on. For more information, call the shelter at 565-4910.
