Thank you for the spot-on “Community Pride” editorial. The south gateway to Cortez is a festering eyesore that deserves the immediate attention of both our city and county planners. And if reasonable land-use regulation isn’t possible, here’s a modest market-based proposal for consideration: Please join me in boycotting any business selfish enough to inflict those ugly billboards on the rest of our community.
