The Cortez Journal will be producing a Veterans Day section and we’re looking for local veterans to feature.

If you are a local veteran or know of a veteran that would like to be featured in the Journal’s Veterans Day section, we want to hear from you.

This is what is required: Name, age, branch of the military and dates served in the military. Also include a short (1-2 paragraphs) about the time spent in the military. A special memory, places served, etc. We also need photos. Sumbmit 1-2 photos of your time in the military and also a recent photo would be nice. If you need the Journal to take a photo, let us know and we’ll set up an appointment.

Deadline for submissions is Oct. 25.
