Navajo Tech ceremony for former nursing director
Navajo Technical College will hold a “Celebration of Life” ceremony for Frances Ellis on Friday, Oct. 12, at 3 p.m. at the hogan on NTC’s Crownpoint, N.M. campus. Ms. Ellis served as NTC’s nursing director until 2011 and helped develop the Navajo Nation’s first RN program.
Ms. Ellis passed away on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, in Cortez at the age of 60. A full obituary ran in the Cortez Journal on August 22.
