Senior Center Menu for November
FRIDAY, NOV. 2 — Baked tilapia with mango salsa, rice medley, broccoli salad.
MONDAY, NOV. 5 — Salisbury steak with gravy, broccoli, baked potato with sour cream, tossed salad, whole wheat roll, fluffy fruit salad.
TUESDAY, NOV. 6 — Meat loaf and gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, carrot raisin salad, fresh orange quarter, apple crisp.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 7 — Oven-fried chicken, whipped potatoes with cream gravy, peas, wheat roll, oranges, rice pudding.
FRIDAY, NOV. 9 — Birthday Day: Beef stew with potatoes and vegetables, bran muffin, three bean salad, pineapple chunks.
MONDAY, NOV. 12 — Closed for Veterans Day holiday.
TUESDAY, NOV. 13 — Kielbasa sausage, parsley-butter potatoes, seasoned green beans, baked acorn squash, whole wheat roll, pineapple and mandarin orange compote.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 14 — Lasagna, seasoned green beans, tossed salad, wheat roll, apricots.
FRIDAY, NOV. 16 — Roast turkey with gravy, dressing, whipped potatoes, peas, cranberry sauce, wheat roll, pumpkin bar.
MONDAY, NOV. 19 — Cheeseburger pie, tossed salad, seasoned green beans, whole wheat roll, plums.
TUESDAY, NOV. 20 — Everything pizza, three bean salad, banana, raisin nut cup.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 21 — Chicken and dumplings, broccoli, tossed salad, apple crisp.
FRIDAY, NOV. 23 — Closed for Thanksgiving holiday.
MONDAY, NOV. 26 — Salmon patties with cream sauce, steamed brown rice, mixed vegetables, whole wheat roll, tangerine.
TUESDAY, NOV. 27 — Combination burrito smothered with green chili and lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream, fresh orange quarter, pears.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 28 — Split pea soup, lemon-baked chicken, oven-browned potatoes, broccoli cuts, whole wheat roll, chocolate pudding.
FRIDAY, NOV. 30 — Pork chops, hot bean casserole, tossed salad, wheat roll, orange half, berry cobbler.
Due to budget cuts, we have closed the Thursday evening meals; home delivery seniors may receive an additional meal during the week to compensate.
Meals are a $3.50 donation for seniors 60 or older, $9 for those under 60. Lunches are served at noon Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday meals are served on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. There is a salad bar every Tuesday at 5 p.m. and Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. Milk is served with all meals. Please call the day before or by 9:30 a.m. at the latest on the same day to reserve your meal.
