Lanny Jason Charlie
Lanny Jason Charlie was born Aug. 19, 1967, in Gallup, N.M. He passed away at the Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, Colo. on Nov. 9, 2012 at the age of 45. Lanny is the son of Christine Charlie of Zuni, N.M. He was living with his brother in Cortez prior to his death. Lanny loved being in Colorado.
Lanny worked in the home health industry. He was also a great silversmith in his spare time.
He loved spending time with family and friends. Lanny especially loved the time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving Lanny are his daughter, Sasha Charlie; his sons, Swain Charlie and Landell Charlie; his mother, Christine Charlie and Fernando Othole; his brothers, Vincent Warren and wife Sheryl of Cortez, and Rene Roanhorse Jr. and wife Stacy of Albuquerque N.M.; his granddaughter and grandson; his grandmother; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Quam; and by numerous aunts and uncles.
Lanny will be dearly missed.
There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Lanny’s life.
