Tena (Justine) Sampson
Tena (Justine) Sampson, age 71, passed away in Grand Junction, Colo. on Dec. 1, 2012. A former resident of Cortez, Tena was a tireless volunteer for all who needed her. She will be greatly missed by so many.
Tena is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Jerry Sampson, and by her brother, John Miller and wife Bobbi. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Terri Helm and husband Bob; stepson, Rick Sampson and wife Janna; grandchildren, Lauren and Matthew Sampson; nephews, J.D. Miller, and Travis Miller and wife Carolyn and their children, Jayden and Trevor.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at Loma Community Church in Loma, Colo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado, 3090 N. 12th St., Unit B, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
