Santa Claus is coming to downtown Cortez
Every year, Santa Claus comes to town - Cortez, that is - with the help of the American Legion and the Fire Department. A Cortez Christmas tradition for over 65 years, this year, Santa will appear on Saturday, Dec. 22, from noon until 1 p.m. at the corner of Market and Main Streets. Santa will hand out gifts and goodies. Helping Santa get to Cortez while his reindeer rest up for the big night are the American Legion Post #75, the Cortez Fire Department and the Men's Motorcycle Club. For more information, call Cyndy at 565-8151.
