Jose Benito 'Joe' Garcia
Funeral Mass for Jose Benito "Joe" Garcia, a former Mancos resident, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, at St. Rita Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, at St. Rita Catholic Church.
Joe was born the son of Salvador Ernesto and Clorinda Maria (Romero) Garcia on March 14, 1936, in Lyden, N.M. He passed away at his Albuquerque, N.M. home on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at the age of 76.
