Maez moves on to Harvard Law

Kelsey Maez of Lewis, a senior currently majoring in Political Science and Spanish at Colorado State University, has been accepted to Harvard School of Law. She plans to attend the Fall semester of 2013. A graduate of Desert Academy Prep School of Santa Fe, N.M., Kelsey also served a four-year internship to New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. Her parents, Valerie and Allen Maez of Lewis are very proud of their daughter and congratulate her on this accomplishment. Kelsey is the granddaughter of Eddie and Perfilia Maez also of Lewis. Her family wish to assure Kelsey that the canyon will always be waiting for her.
