William Obert 'Bill' Criswell
Graveside services for Cortez resident William Obert "Bill" Criswell will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, at Eckert Cemetery in Eckert, Colo.
Bill was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Delta, Colo. the son of Robert and Jewel (Martin) Criswell. He passed away at Southwest Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at the age of 80.
On Oct. 23, 2010, Bill married Virginia Lois Miller Johnson. He was a business agent for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Number 969. Bill loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Surviving Bill are his daughters, Kathy, Roxanne and Debbie Criswell; and his one sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jewel Criswell.
