The Doggy Day Spa fundraiser for the Cortez Animal Shelter is fast approaching. This second annual event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, and the shelter is now taking reservations for humans and their favorite four-legged friends to be pampered and loved. Pooches will be treated to a bath, brush and beyond, while their humans enjoy a fabulous hand treatment or gentle message. The proceeds from the Doggy Day Spa, along with the proceeds from the 12 Strays of Christmas will be used to expand the shelter's outdoor dog kennels.
