Ila M. 'Blue' McClellan-Henry

Ila M. "Blue" McClellan-Henry, 60, of Abie, Neb. died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at the Butler County Health Care Center in David City, Neb. Blue was a former resident of Cortez for 10 to 15 years, and worked in home health care. She also served as the manager at the Rocky Top bar for several years.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, Feb. 8, at the Abie Hall in Abie with Pastor Jack McDonald officiating.

Per Blue's request, she was cremated.

Ila is survived by her husband, Bill; one son, James McClellan and fiancé Leigh Ann Kennedy of Leander, Texas; parents-in-law, Marcel and Mary Ann Henry of Spalding, Neb.; two brothers, C.W. McClellan of Florida and Sam McClellan of California; and by one sister, Pam Diaz of Omaha, Neb.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements were by Chermok Funeral Home of David City.
