Patricia Jean 'Pat' Spandrio

Graveside services for Patricia Jean "Pat" Spandrio will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28 at Ivy Lawn Cemetery, Ventura, Calif.

Pat was born June 19, 1923 in Oxnard, Calif. the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Evelyn Miller (Wiltfong) Hyde. She passed away in Cortez on Feb. 21, 2013 at the age of 89.

On Oct. 16, 1941 in Oxnard, Calif., Pat married Angelo Mario Spandrio Sr. To this union three sons were born. Pat loved playing bingo, doing word searches and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. She received a President's Award for her many hours spent volunteering at Camarillo Health Care District. Pat was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Camarillo, Calif.

Pat is survived by her three sons, Angelo Spandrio and wife, Brenda of Sequim, Wash., Jerry Spandrio and wife, Annette of Pleasant View, and Anthony Spandrio and wife, Laura of Loveland, Colo.; her sisters, Betty Jo Graham of Port Hueneme, Calif., Arline Brown of Oxnard, Calif., and Diane Gilbert of Kingman, Ariz. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Evelyn Hyde; husband, Angelo Spandrio Sr.; and brother, Walter Jack Hyde.
