Wanda LaVonne Bryant

Wanda La Vonne Bryant was born May 13, 1941, in Cortez, to Clyde and Dorothy Palmer. She went to her reward on Feb. 9, 2013, in Los Angeles, Calif.

She married Glen Bryant on April 3, 1958, and born to this union were three sons and one daughter: Randall Glen, Gary Don, Kevin Ray and Glenda Jewel.

She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age.

Her husband was an overseas oil worker, so she spent time in Libya, Malta, Iran and Ecuador. She especially enjoyed visiting the House of Happiness Orphanage in Quito, Ecuador.

She is survived by her four children, one daughter-in-law, six grandchildren: Rhonda, Jason, Tanya, Derick, Glen and William; one aunt, Geneva Willden; one uncle, Hughey Agee; two brothers, Vern and Gene; three sisters, Loys, Wilma and Dorothy (Dody); several great-grandchildren, several cousins and many friends.

Rev. Charles Kardokus will conduct a graveside interment for her ashes at the Cortez Cemetery on May 25, 2013, at 3 p.m.
