Girl Scouts honor founder’s legacy
Happy Birthday to Juliette Gordon Low.
The Girl Scouts of Troop 2619 donated a gift basket to the first baby girl born on Halloween in honor of our Founder, Juliette Gordon Low, whose birthday was on Halloween.
Girl Scout Troop 2619 met a sweet new mom, Staci, and her beautiful baby girl at Southwest Memorial Hospital. Staci was very gracious and allowed the entire troop, who were all in Halloween costumes, into her room to see her newborn daughter. The gift basket included many fun and useful baby items, including a handmade blanket. To pamper the new mom, the troop also included Girl Scout cookies. As a thank you, Girl Scout cookies were also given to the nurses and staff at the hospital for doing such a great job.
