This is “Mindy,” a boxer/pit mix. She is a wonderful dog and gets along with everyone. Mindy needs a fenced-in yard and plenty of room to play. She is very laid-back and could be a house dog. She loves kids and other dogs, but we aren’t sure how she does with cats. She’s probably a few years old. The Cortez Animal Shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed every other Friday for intensive cleaning. Adoption fees include altering, microchip, first vaccines except rabies, and a free health exam at any local vets. For more information, call the Cortez Animal Shelter at 565-4910.
