New summer hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Cortez Animal Shelter also accepts donations such as bleach, clay cat litter, Pedigree or Iams dog food, Iams puppy food, Purina cat chow and kitten chow, dish soap, paper towels, and dog treats.
