William (Bill) D. Fulks

William (Bill) D. Fulks, 72, of Casa Grande, Ariz., succumbed to lung cancer at home July 21, 2014 surrounded by his family.

Bill was born Dec. 23, 1941, in Cortez, Colo., to John and Laura Fulks. He graduated from Montezuma-Cortez High School in 1960, and was an Army sergeant from 1962-1965. Bill had several occupations in his lifetime – gold and silver mining, oil field, mechanic, and owner-operator truck driver. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gail Fulks, of Casa Grande, Ariz.; daughters Debra (Randy) Lingo of Stanfield, Ariz., and Brenda (Charles) Baldwin of Casa Grande, Ariz.; son Randy L. Fulks of Tucson Ariz.; stepson Darren Davis of Casa Grande, Ariz.; sisters Johnnie Belle McGraw, Janice Prather, Judy Fulks, Barbara Jean Beam, and Beth Howell; and many loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. Bill was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend to all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Laura Fulks, brother Lane Fulks, son Greg Fulks, and daughter Jodie Fulks.

Graveside services will be held at Goodman Point Cemetery at a later date.
