Fergusson is a former Randy’s employee. “I do not have any plans right now,” Burton said. “I’ve been going 100 miles an hour for the past years, and it was the right time to sell the business. I’m going to take some time to relax and travel, I’ll still be in Durango.” The restaurant will be closed for several weeks and reopen under new ownership and a new name: “6512 Restaurant and Lounge.” Chris Forrest and Sam Beardsley are the new owners.
