Artist-in-residence Cummins will give program at Mesa Verde
Artist-in-residence Patricia Rottino Cummins, an oil and pastel painter, will present an illustrated program at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, in Morefield Amphitheater, five miles into Mesa Verde National Park.

The program will chronicle Cummins' work with the National Park Service's artist-in-residence program, and she will have her Mesa Verde artwork on display.

Cummins is a Miami environmental artist who has been an art educator for the past 30 years in the Miami Dade Public School System and at Barry University. She was an artist-in-residence in Petrified Forest, Voyageurs, Hot Springs and Biscayne national parks before coming to Mesa Verde. Her artwork has been exhibited in the United States and internationally. Her latest venues include Florida's State Capitol Gallery, Epcot Center and Walt Disney World.

For more information about Cummins, visit www.patcummins.com. For more information about the presentation and the artists-in-residence program, contact Frank Cope, AIR coordinator, at (970) 529-4607.
