NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Durango City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 949 Second Avenue. Said Public Hearing is to consider a request from Durango Dirt, represented by Steve Eccher, for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to construct a new 18,901 sq. ft. building to house Soundtraxx located in the Tech Center at 141 Burnette Drive. This property contains a cut hillside that has a slope in excess of 30% and the development proposal shows the proposed new building going into that hillside approximately 20-25 feet. In this particular case, the steep slopes on the site are not the natural slopes, but were created by site grading that occurred on this property years ago during the subdivision of the Tech Center. The development of a new building on the 30% sloped hillside requires a CUP under the City's Hillside Protection Ordinance, and for retaining walls that go up to 8-ft in height.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public is invited to attend and present written and/or oral testimony regarding this proposal. Written comments from those who cannot attend but want their opinions considered in Council's deliberations must be received by noon on Monday, May 20, in the City Clerk's office, 949 Second Avenue, Durango, CO 81301. Further information concerning the proposal is available for review between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the Community Development office at 1235 Camino del Rio, Durango, Colorado. The Pine River Public Library District, Library Building Expansion Project. Notice is hereby given pursuant to CRS 38-26-107, as amended, that by May 24, 2013, at 4:00 p.m., all verified statements of claims for final settlement must be submitted in writing to the Pine River Public Library, for and on account of the contract with FCI Contractors, Inc., for the Pine River Public Library District, Library Building Expansion Project.
Any person, co-partnership, association of persons, company or corporation that has furnished labor, materials, team hire, sustenance, provisions, provender, or other supplies used or consumed by FCI Contractors, Inc., and/or their subcontractors in or about the performance of the work contracted to be done or that supplies, laborers, rental machinery, tools or equipment to the extent used in the prosecution of the work whose claim therefore has not been paid by the contractor or their subcontractors, at any time up to and including the time of final settlement, as stated herein, may file a verified written statement of claim of the amount due and unpaid on account of such claim, with the Pine River Public Library District, P.O. Box 227, Bayfield, CO 81122.
Failure on the part of the claimant to file such verified written statement of claim with the District prior to final settlement of the District's contract with FCI Contractors, Inc., shall relieve the Pine River Public Library District from any and all liability for such claims.
